THE A-LINE WEDDING DRESS

Phillipa Lepley Margaux 768
The allure of a Phillipa Lepley A-line wedding dress starts with our hidden corsetry. It gives a beautifully cinched in and defined waist, allowing the skirt shape to skim the hips before flowing out into a fuller skirt. It shows a bride’s figure perfectly whilst keeping the romantic and timeless feel that a Phillipa Lepley gown is renowned for.

Originating in the French couture houses of the 1950s, the A-line silhouette provides a wonderful base shape that can be built upon in any number of ways; luxuriously ruched with Italian duchess satin, draped with billowing satin chiffon, embroidered with floral motifs, appliquéd with French Chantilly lace or embellished with pearls and crystals, all designed and completed in-house by our London team.

There are so many different styles of A-line wedding dresses at Phillipa Lepley; Slimmer skirts with fluid fabrics are perfect for more relaxed weddings, whereas a more structured, fuller skirt results in a grander statement.
