Phillipa Lepley bride Charlotte
A celebration of colour: Phillipa Lepley bride Charlotte embraced modern elegance with a bespoke princess-line crepe gown, perfectly paired with a hand-embroidered ‘Wildflower Meadow’ veil.

Crafted from luxurious, matte silk crepe, Charlotte’s couture wedding dress featured a striking square neckline, long sleeves, and architectural, structured shoulders. Its sleek, contemporary silhouette was meticulously refined over multiple fittings at Phillipa Lepley in Chelsea, London.

A Phillipa Lepley couture veil is just as exquisite as the gowns themselves, and Charlotte’s was no exception. She chose an enchanting two-tier ‘Wildflower Meadow’ veil, a breathtaking tapestry of colourful hand-embroidered blooms.

Woven in France on 200-year-old looms, the finest silk tulle served as the canvas for this colourful masterpiece.
Designed in-house and inspired by the flourishing wildflower meadow Phillipa nurtures at home, it featured a delicate array of Phillipa’s favourite blooms – Cornflowers, Rosemary, Verbena, Erigeron, and Lavender – in soft hues of pink, lilac, yellow, and blue. Each flower was stitched with a single skein of thread, using intricate couture techniques such as stem stitch, satin stitch, and fine French knots, and placed meticulously placed by hand, creating the illusion of blossoms growing organically from the base of the veil, climbing up the silk crepe of Charlotte’s wedding dress.

A poetic contrast between whimiscal romanticism and clean modernity, Charlotte’s bridal look perfectly suited her quintessential English country garden wedding.
