Designed to feel impossibly light despite its voluminous structure, the gown’s architecture demonstrates the Atelier’s commitment to both craftsmanship and innovation. A signature lightweight corset forms the foundation of the silhouette, offering support and sculptural elegance beneath a delicate surface.

The bodice is constructed from two layers of Phillipa’s ‘Buttercup’ lace – a fine French corded Chantilly lace known for its distinctive scalloping, each edge delicately detailed with three miniature scallops within every crest. This intricate motif is used at the hems and detachable sleeves, creating a visual continuity. The neckline also features a delicate double frill that adds a touch of softness and femininity, subtly drawing attention to the décolletage.

The skirt is full yet light, made from softly gathered lace over layers of ivory tulle. Petticoats and internal structure create volume, finished with a long train for added drama. Despite its size, the dress doesn’t overwhelm and feels effortless to move in, thanks to clever construction engineered by Phillipa’s artisan Atelier team. At the back, a row of covered buttons and loops brings a traditional bridal detail to the design.

One of the standout details of this gown is the removable ‘Butterfly’ sleeves. These soft, romantic sleeves have a unique shape and are edged in the same fine lace, giving the bride the option to change her look throughout the day.
