To create the effect of the roses growing in size down the body, Phillipa and her expert atelier team painstakingly selected and positioned each flower at the neckline and bodice onto the Briar Rose lace to ensure the perfect shape following the cut of the dress, before carefully hand-stitching them into place. Delicate, sheer lace cap sleeves with an undulating scalloped edge finish the dress beautifully, giving it a soft, feminine look.

Phillipa has given the wedding dress a gorgeous, grand feel by placing this masterpiece of lace work over an ivory duchess satin dress with a sweeping skirt and scooped décolleté neckline. The A-line shape of the dress creates an elegance that is complemented by the delicate florals on the lace and the scalloped hem and neckline. To complete this majestic silhouette, the dress has been designed with a two-metre long train. And, as with most of Phillipa Lepley’s couture wedding dresses, the structured satin bodice includes her iconic hidden corset.
