Choosing A Bespoke Wedding Dress For Intimate Weddings
After a series of big changes, a 15-person wedding may seem small, but ceremonies are allowed to commence and they can be as beautifully orchestrated as a large-scale celebration, carrying just as much meaning.
At Phillipa Lepley we focus on the individual bride and the bespoke wedding dress that will be perfect for her, rather than dwelling on the constraints and implications of any restrictions. We work closely with our brides in what is fundamentally a support role too, to enable them to put the rest of their wedding day logistics to one side momentarily whilst they are with us. We ensure that when it comes to ‘the dress’ they thoroughly adore the whole process, from start to finish.

With an increased focus on the ceremony itself, brides may experiment with longer dress trains, cathedral length veils, over-sized skirts and dresses covered in stunning bespoke embroideries, many of which provide more ‘cover’.
Alternatively, brides may opt for a ‘clean’ dress in contrast, if the chic purity of a sharp silhouette appeals. A duchess satin wedding dress with an off-the-shoulder wide collar and a slim inverted tulip shape skirt, or a silk crepe dress cut with dramatic flare at the hem and an extra-long train – both are undeniably dramatic in their simplicity.
