Shot in the opulent surroundings of the Savile Club in Mayfair, London, this film features a collection of stunning wedding dresses that encapsulate the timeless femininity that Phillipa Lepley’s designs are known for.

Sumptuous Italian silks manipulated into voluminous and cleverly cut pleats have been brought together with hand embroidered tulles and decadent embellishments. Full, debutante-style ball-gown skirts contrast with slender, corseted waists whilst light, flowing laces and 3D embroideries dance with movement.

Colour plays a key part in this collection also: a luxurious woven jacquard of jade green, rose tones and iridescent thread detailing has been expertly draped, whilst threadwork vines, metallic “seed heads” and appliqued floral motifs trickle organically across the cinched waist of a signature corseted bodice before descending to an overflowing garden of embroidery through a cathedral length train.

The bold statement of diamanté encrusted beading is balanced by the light and almost cloud-like handling of layer upon layer of silk tulle, ruched around the female form creating dreamy full and romantic, balletic silhouettes.
