Jacqui Ainsley Marries Guy Ritchie
Jacqui Ainsley married Guy Ritchie at a country house in Wiltshire wearing a Phillipa Lepley couture wedding dress.
The look created by the Phillipa Lepley team was a bespoke A-line dress in Italian ivory silk duchess satin with a vintage looking fine French corded lace overlay and a stunning flowing train.
Carefully fitted to Jacqui through her fittings, her signature Phillipa Lepley corset created the perfect base shape for this timeless silhouette – a beautifully defined waist shape flowing to a full, structured duchess satin skirt and complimented by lace decollete straps – a symphony of balance, proportion and feminine form.
The French lace incorporated sweeping cursive motifs that travelled flawlessly over the whole dress – seamlessly appliqued and moulded to the grand, bridal silhouette. Phillipa Lepley’s eye for detail and fine finishing is clear in the immaculate lace work involved in Jacqui Ainsley’s wedding dress.
The sheer lace straps and neckline were enhanced with thousands of tiny handworked pearls, all sewn by hand at the Chelsea atelier, meticulously placed to graduated from the straps and neckline lightly through the bodice.
For the ceremony, Jacqui wore a Phillipa Lepley silk tulle veil, adorned with a complimenting French lace to frame the whole look.
After the ceremony itself Jacqui added a stunning floral crown made with all roses, by Nikki Tibbles of Wild At Heart – a leading London florist.
Phillipa says, “It was absolutely wonderful to work with Jacqui on her dress. A total honour! She looked breathtakingly beautiful – so timeless, elegant and chic. I adored the addition of the really natural, colourful rose crown she chose too. It was so well suited to their traditional English country wedding. I wish them every happiness!”
Nikki Tibbles also constructed a fabulous flower arch, filled with hydrangeas, stocks and roses, and lined the aisle with phenomenal displays.
