“Monte Carlo Lineaire seamlessly blends meticulously precise technical construction with impeccable styling to produce a gorgeous and elegant gown”
A beautiful hand-embellished tulle yoke is the stand-out feature of this delicate couture wedding dress. The full silk crepe, A-line dress is a timeless, elegant silhouette and the regal high neck and embellished yoke creates a truly beautiful, special finish.
Rows of intricate beads depict wild flowers, following the contours of the body and necklines, with one row meandering and trickling down towards the full, fluid silk crepe of the dress. “I wanted it to look like one of the rows had escaped,” says Phillipa Lepley.
The hand-embellished rows of flowers flow up into the high neck of the wedding dress and sweep across to a very delicate edge around the outlines, with the organic motifs forming the fine edge of the very narrow cap sleeves.
The beauty of this gown is in the way the beaded yoke is attached – framing the bride’s face, while the fluid full skirt flows down the female form to beautifully flatter her figure. This sensual shape is further enhanced by Phillipa Lepley’s immaculate corsetry that sculpts the silhouette to perfectly define in all the right places.
Phillipa’s love of exquisite hand-embellishment and attention to detail is reflected through this design; the beading giving a strong sense of elegance while the simple silk crepe shows off the immaculate beauty of the fabric.
“Monte Carlo Lineaire seamlessly blends meticulously precise technical construction with impeccable styling to produce a gorgeous and elegant gown,” says Phillipa.
