Couture Wedding Dress – Toulouse Japanese Anemone

Underneath, a white fine silk strapless bodice with an internal corset forms the perfect figure-enhancing base. The soft sweep neckline is simple and understated, with an attractive low V at the back. From a gathered waist, a voluminous skirt descends to the ground, made from a combination of layers of ivory and white tulle, with an 85’’ train.
The pièce de résistance is the beautiful overlay. Made with white tulle, it has been delicately hand-embroidered & beaded with a linear peach, taupe & green floral design of Japanese Anemone, symbolising sincerity due to their delicate appearance.
The ‘Dahlia Flower Garden’ silk tulle top, is also adorned with hand-sewn organza Dahlias, three-dimensional Lily of the Valley flower heads and tiny ivory glazed metallic Forget-Me-Nots. With elegant full-length tulle sleeves and a keyhole opening at the back, it is fastened at the nape of the neck and with a button & loop closure at the wrist.
As with all Phillipa Lepley couture wedding dresses, the embroidery can be specifically developed and placed in a bespoke way for each bride, with more or less colour and specific shapes being altered to create the perfect picture.
